The course takes 3 days to complete. You'll complete an equipment set up workshop, 1 confined water dive and 4 open water dives. Sidemount requires a lot of attention to detail when it comes to kit configuration and we spend a lot of time ensuring that we get this right.
The first day consists of the equipment setup, theory and a shallow water skills and orientation dive.
The second day we will work on equipment configuration again and complete the next 2 dives.
The last day consists of the final qualifying dives. Over the course of the open water dives you'll learn about gas management, shutdowns, gas sharing and buoyancy skills including specialised fin kicks like reverse and frog kicks.
